Avocado Shrimp salad – recipe

Avocado and green beans salad – recipe

  • Avocado – 1 pc.,
  • Sour cream – 50 ml,
  • Bacon – 50 gr.,
  • Green beans – 100 gr.,
  • Potatoes – 3 pcs.,

  • Salt,
  • Ground black pepper.
  • Avocado – 1 pc.,

I suppose many have seen avocados in stores – a fruit that outwardly strongly resembles a green pear, but not everyone has tried it. And it’s in vain, I’ll tell you, that avocado, although not particularly expressive in taste, is able to complement and decorate almost any salad, turning it into a real culinary masterpiece. And besides that, avocado is very useful, the pulp of its fruit contains strong antioxidants, as well as a lot of vitamins, trace elements, and other useful substances.

Perhaps you have already had the bad experience of using this wonderful fruit in every way. Most likely, you just got an unripe fruit. If you bought one – solid and green, just leave it to “reach” in a cool, dark place for one to two weeks, after which the taste will change for the better.

Again, avocado is great for cold salads, including redfish. I propose to cook this one today, it appears on my table quite often. I will gladly share with you the recipe if you don’t know it yet – salad with avocado, trout, and feta.

Avocado, Trout and Feta Salad – Recipe

First, you need to cut the avocado into small cubes. To do this, the fruit must be cut in two, freed from the stone, cut off the skin, and having cut it into plates, then finely chopped. To prevent the avocado from darkening, drizzle with lemon juice.

Cut the fillet of lightly salted trout into pieces of the same size as the avocado.

Crumble or knead the feta cheese with a fork.

Divide the boiled eggs into whites and yolks, then chop the whites into cubes, and grate the yolks on a fine grater.

It remains to make the dressing and collect the salad. For the dressing, mix sour cream with mustard and add a little black pepper. For serving, you can, of course, simply mix all the products and season with the prepared sauce, but I want to show you the festive serving of this salad. Cover a flat dish with rucola leaves and layout the salad in layers using the cooking form (or, like me, with a ring cut from a plastic bottle). Make an avocado with the first layer, brush with sour cream sauce.

The second is soft cheese.

Next is the layer of fish, smeared with dressing.

There are eggs left: put proteins on top of the trout and season with sauce.

And the yolks will be the top layer and will also serve as a decoration.
